  • Kebabs to Savor: Their large chicken shish wrap is the star of the show at £16.15, loaded with an exquisite mix of salad including lettuce, cabbage, onion, tomato, and pickles. The small chicken shish wrap offers a more modest serving at £11.55 but maintains that scrumptious flavor.

Absolutely disgusting no asking if you want lemon with your fish and chips so you get a flavour of lemon chips rank .. how do you get hot and cold chips in the same soggy paper ... st and last time for nearly quid I would expect better and the batter on the fish really needs to be fried longer it's stoggy as hell... stay clear of this place ... no wonder it was shut by pm on last week

Kingfisher on Grand Drive presents a classic British takeaway experience, but my recent visit highlighted some areas for improvement. The battered sausage, though tasty, lacked the crispiness that would make it truly exceptional. The batter could benefit from a bit more cooking time to achieve that perfect crunch. Similarly, the chips were somewhat disappointing, missing the ideal combination of fluffiness and crispiness that is essential for a satisfying chip shop meal. For those willing to venture a bit further, Matheou's Fish Bar and Restaurant on Coombe Lane is a worthwhile alternative. Their battered sausage is consistently crisper, and the chips strike the perfect balance between fluffy and crispy. Additionally, Matheou's excels in customer service, ensuring a pleasant and efficient experience, all within the same price range. In conclusion, while Kingfisher on Grand Drive has potential, Matheou's Fish Bar and Restaurant offers a superior option for those seeking a top-quality battered sausage and chips.Kingfish has plenty of space for improvement but isn't bad.

Was just looking for a quick and easy fish and chip then was going to go to a kebab shop when i noticed they did kebabs. Not going to lie i was apprehensive but i was too lazy to a kebab shop (shop that specialises in kebabs). Large cod and chips my wife loved it, couldnt complain! The mix kebab is what i got. I was pleasantly surprised, it tasted better than most kebab shops actually do and i will now go there for my kebabs. Very generous portion sizes, you wont complain. The service was really good, they was busy but she still managed to acknowledge me and idercate she will be with me soon, which gave me time to actually look at the menu. They packed it with care, especially since i was taking this back into my car i really didnt want to lay down tissues on the seat due to the grease but i didnt have to do that as they packaged it very well. All in all very happy.cant complain. Spent about £ happy with that
